A jigsaw radio kit.

Cheap enough and a challenge for a wet afternoon! Having assembled a few of these Chinese kits, I found this one posed a number of problems. Parts are very small and magnifying glass are essential to identify resistors and caps. The fm chip would prove a soldering challenge for any beginners. But good experience. Printed circuit tracking was easily damaged populating components so treat with a kid glove! Bench test the circuit and tune before installing in the case... Good luck with the daft plastic tuning bit! Overall, a bit of fun to build but not a particularly useful radio receiver!

Switchable scart block

At last! No more having to fumble around manually plugging scart plugs into a connector. Now, all scarts from my devices are plugged into this block and all I have to do is press the relevant button to connect the required device... I wish I'd found this years ago!
