Bath and Body Works "Sunset by the Pool" lotion
I feel in love with the "Sunset by the pool" scent when I found a bottle of the mist spray over a year ago. This body lotion is fantastic. The scent really does make you think of long summer days relaxing while the kids play in the pool. It is a gentle smell that does not bombard you (or co-workers) with too heavy of an aroma. We all know those people who walk by your desk or pass you in the grocery store and smell like they bathed in body spray. That will not be the wearer of this lotion. It's mixture of white peaches, passion fruit, and woods is light and airy. The actual
physical texture and consistence of the lotion is not too thick and not too thin like water. When I apply it to my skin, you can see a sheen that quickly absorbs quickly. It actually has vitamins that your skin needs, plus aloe for those of us who tend to burn rather easily. The bottle says that it provides 16 hours of continuous moisture, but I find that I need to reapply it several times a day to keep my hands and arms from feeling rough. That not be a product issue but more of a reflection of me personally. My one problem with the lotion is the color. It's a pale peachy-orange color that I find off-putting. It reminds me of silly putty from my childhood. Again, a personal preference, not a product issue. I would recommend purchasing a bottle for yourself and perhaps throw in the misting spray and shower gel, too.
