DO NOT BUY UNLESS PRE-TESTED and NEED PARTS OFF OLD DISPLAY
First off,
As this is my first time fixing a phone and the replacement is new, I totally trusted that it would be satisfactory.
I watched the videos and it looked like an easy fix, especially for me since I fix computers.
When the replacement arrived, it was missing the front Flash the speaker grills and the speaker rubbers or whatever they're called. So you have to remove them from the old phone the rubbers are easily put back in.
The grills not so easy. You need bent needle nose and possibly a little trim adhesive to hold them in after because they they might still be loose.
The tools are crap that they provide. Nothing against the seller on this because they're basically the same set that all the sellers are offering on eBay.
The screwdriver broke on my third of 20 screws I needed to remove so I went to Home Depot and bought a set of torque screwdrivers.
As for the quality of the display itself: on a scale of 1-10 I give it a 6.
I have faded yellow spots around screen and one spot has a bleed through on upper left.
Seller wanted to know if I could live with it and he would give me back $20.
I told him no so he offered to send me another new one. I told him that would be fine but if it doesn't work he was getting both back. And he could sell them for $30 to someone else willing to settle for less than satisfactory!
He issued me a full refund instead. Needless to say he did not want the screen back.
Now I'm going to just go to Motorola and get the whole front display assembly like I expected with this purchase.

I had no idea what it was capable of!

It's easy to attach and operate. I wish the lights would stay on during song play like a boombox, but it's not a big deal.
It also has a feature that I don't remember seeing advertised:
Syncing to an external Bluetooth speaker, like my now 1 yr old car stereo system that I can finally sync music off my phone for the first time ever!
AND communicate with Alexa through my car stereo/ smart speaker hookup to ask whatever I generally ask it at home, or look up & listen to other music.
Pretty cool! Works just like the brand new Alexa Auto gadget!
With the speaker attached, it gives this is very slim phone a better fit in your hand, but I am having a hard time trying to find a protective phone case that will fit with the speaker attached and not interfere with the magnetic properties that hold the speaker to the phone.
For now I'm using a transparent colored gel case which I turn around to cover the screen when the speaker is attached.
the phone screen is sensitive enough to read my touch through the gel case and I can operate my buttons I just can't do my fingerprint.
This way I can put my phone face down with the speaker attached and not worry about anything scratching my screen.
It would be nicer if the magnetic contacts on the speaker were set out more so that it can connect to the phone even with a case attached.
I am using cases that have the cutouts for the camera and magnetic contacts. I have bought three so far they don't fit the mod.
But I'll keep searching LOL!

MUCH BETTER THAN MAGIC MESH!

1st two were the Magic Mesh, I was very happy to see much better quality:
Magnets with this item are sewn in instead of snapped on. So now they won't be popping apart or tearing off from the flimsy material.
Unlike magic mesh, half the work is done for you. It comes with one side of the velcro already attached to the curtain so all you have to do is apply the other side to the wall. I left mine up from the previous curtain for even easier reinstallation and I was very happy to discover I had the correct side already stuck to the wall which cut my time by 1/2.
And I loved the sewn on valance... add a little fancy touch to the overall appearance.
I will definitely be buying this product again if I need to.
