Sound loud enough, connector should be longer for easy use with any device.
Sound is good but I could not rate a five since the connector wire is a little to short. It would be good if you use the pocket for your device but I'm using it with an old hard plastic walk man that I don't want in bed with me so I keep it clipped to the bed frame and there isn't enough slack in it to comfortably place it under my pillow.
