ok for shops repairing screens maybe
maybe I'm just a bit OCD for things. but the first one had a tear in the copper backing of the lcd. so returned it the next one from a different company, but seems the same supplier, also had a small tear in the same place.
after seeing this and the scratches on the join with the rear of the unit I can only assume they are buying in cracked digitisers and replacing the digitiser.
it works and if you don't mind it being slightly scratched it gets you tab back up and running.

does the job. super sharp picture
1 of 1 found this helpful bought this for my toastrack works a treat. might modify it so It has a stereo jack, as I will be adding a bytedelight sound mod. you will find the loading sound and buzzer sounds are LOUD and the sound chip stuff is quiet. this isn't a problem with the cable it a "feature/error" of the toastracks sound circuit. hence the mod to balance the sound. the picture is about as good as it gets with the original analogue signals, without modding the motherboards video circuit or using a ZX-HD.

childhood memories renewed
1 of 1 found this helpful yes the graphics are good for its time, 1978. don't buy one if you have a modern tv without analogue tuner unless like me you plan to add either svideo or composite outputs. so plan to add at least £16 to the price.
I would also plan on getting a Harmony Cart if you want to play lots of games as trying to buy all the ones you remember could be expensive.
