Great family friendly Rock Band experience with lots of songs
Great fun if you own Rock Band instruments and more of a fan of lighter fare than the hard rock and metal in the other Rock band games, or if you want a more family-friendly experience suitable for kids. If you have Rock Band 2 or 3 but not the original Rock Band or its predecessor, Band Hero, then you'll find a lot of new tracks.
Because it's a family friendly game, you'll find a very easy mode for kids, so they just need to strum on the guitar and not have to hit any notes. Iggy Pop does the tutorial mode, which is a bit tedious but he tries his best to liven up his script, you can hear he had a good time doing it..
The campaign mode is good and the special challenges are fun (for the audience, you will not be able to watch what's going on on the screen when you're focusing on hitting the next notes).
One thing is that the game never tells you that to buy the new vehicles you need to progress between locations, you simply need to use the D-pad (or up/down on the guitar) to step to the next available vehicle position. I actually had to Google this.
Overall, great stuff, and you can usually get it for a bargain price.
