Space age vintage cookware
2 of 2 found this helpful Though vintage the old corning ware is an amazing product made of a space age material called pyroceram. Glass is super-heated and its structure changes to the crystal structure of ceramic plus it is very durable and resistant to thermal shock. Sales on this stuff eventually slipped because it would not break and everybody already had some! Corning ware (beware of the inferior new stuff made in china) will most likely out live anyone reading this review.
