Good tech for a reasonable price
1 of 1 found this helpful While the thought of buying a phone with a built-in answering machine may seem antiquated, there are situations where it's the right answer. Having a parent who doesn't even have an internet connection is one of them. The thought of having their voice mail "out there" on somebody else's system is unthinkable, so a home answering machine it is.
The range of these phones is more than adequate for the size of the house. Coverage is even good outside the house. Sound quality is good, and the price for a refurbished set was more than reasonable.
The only negative comment I have is that the display technology is a little outdated. The viewing angle has to be just right to be able to read the info across the desk. As would be expected with older LCD displays, visibility outside is limited, but not horrible.
If you're looking for a basic wireless phone, this set is a good choice.
