Expensive but then there is a premium for those with hearing disability that does not fit the norm of 2 ears.
5 of 5 found this helpful Since early childhood I have only one working ear so the normal bud headphones provided with products like mobile phones are of no use to me as I miss out on half the sound on stereo tracks.
I have bought a few single ear headphones and these type have provided the best sound although given they are 10x the price of ones you can buy from China this I consider a price worth paying.
I have bought 2 types of this particular head phone one with the inline control and one without and I find the one with the inline control to have a worse sound than the one without but only marginally. The one with inline control was bought to replace one I lost on my travels probably fell out of my pocket as I got car keys out.
Sadly no major retailer sells items for people with partial hearing problems preferring to stick to items which require 2 ears and until they do the price for UK supplied items of quality will continue to be fairly expensive.
If you want or need sound into one ear then these do the job with reasonable sound quality.

Ok but
The unit is cheap and offers everything you can expect of a cheap two part bar when they arrived the plates were very greasy and had to be wiped as the heavier ones we in danger of slipping from the hands.
It is strong enough but the spin locks do not hold the plates still and they are continually un-spinning the locks thus the plates are unconstrained. I shall in time find a way of stopping this happening.
This in itself is not a big issue as they are used for a limited range of arm exercises but you should be aware of this if this worries you before you buy them.
I have marked them as not good quality as they are cheap and with cheap you simply do not get good quality they are not for heavy use if you want to use this type of equipment over a prolonged heavy workout you should be looking for something of better quality and thus more expensive.
Do not let me making them this way put you off they will do for low level use.

Not used for the advertised purpose.
2 of 2 found this helpful I cannot comment of the specified use for this product as I do not use it for that. I use this to numb the nerves in my leg when I get a flair up and the pills alone not working it does the job and is cheaper than medical anaesthetic spray.
