Good sequel to Chinatown. Well worth the watch.
The Two Jakes does not have the palpable atmosphere of 1940’s LA that Chinatown had of late 1920’s LA. but it is nonetheless a very good sequel to Chinatown. It was fun to see so many of the older actors from Chinatown. Good cast. Nice follow up of the Chinatown story. Satisfying conclusion. Well worth the watch.

Interesting epochal film accurately depicted. An historian’s delight.
1 of 1 found this helpful Black and white film lends an air of authenticity to the film. Probably Gert
Frobe’s best career role. Paris being just about the cultural centre of the
Western world, the events that led to it being preserved for posterity is
a dramatic story in its own right.

A loving homage to Harry for his fans.
It is a 5 star product for fans of Harry Dean Stanton as it is a loving
homage to his career and was obviously written for him.
