Great
Intentionally have been buying gadgets with 5V (DC) power supplies so that I can ditch all the switch-mode power supplies infavour of USB chargers. I've used these cables to power a Linksys LGS108 network switche, FS media converters, and battery chargers from Anker USB chargers.

Bit flimsy, but does the job
I think a metal strain on larger multicore cables is a little more appropriate, but this will be perfect in an installation setting where it's fitted once and rarely touched/moved again. Does the job.
