Handy 12volt pir switch
Ordered 3 from this supplier. Arrived very quickly (5 days) from China. I have tested all three. All detect body heat at a reasonable range and switch the load on. The only reservation I would note is that the timing circuit is not accurately set to “1 to 10 minutes”. Some switch on for only 20 seconds when set at one minute. This suggests that the maximum setting could be less than the 10 minutes stated. I have purchased several of these from different suppliers the best that I have found are white and supplied from the UK. Interestingly they are also slightly cheaper than these which are been supplied from China.

Very short lived
2 of 2 found this helpful They will work for a while but will quickly fill with rain water and stop. I bought four and the moles went away. But 6 months later (during spring and summer months) they all stopped working. All have a half a cup of water inside. I have taken them apart and dried them out but only two still work, and not very well. Clearly not fit for purpose. Should have bought mole traps.

Genuine product with enhancements
Finally I have tracked down a genuine, accurate load tester that works as it should. I have bought these electronic load cells from other suppliers who show photos of the genuine unit, but they send you the cheap inaccurate and downright dangerous copy product. Very pleased with this one. It is the version 2 with upgraded software and a serial connection to allow data output should you wish. Fan is quiet.
