An absolute mine of useful information.
Brilliant book. Well laid out and a superb reference for anyone wanting to modify classic Minis. My copy will shortly become very grubby !

Canon A590 review
Not the latest model or possessed with mega, mega pixels but plenty enough (set at maximum I can get half decent A3 prints) and a useful range of manual settings that are easily configured. Seems a bit heavy on the AA Duracels so will be getting some 2850mAH rechargeables. A bit larger and heavier than most of the latest offerings so, especially, with the comfortable grip (for large hands !) it's easy to hold and less prone to shake, but my monopod overcomes that anyway. Camera was bought to replace previous Canon Ixus 60 which died a death and intended to be used as a quick and easy 'snappy' and thought about purchasing a DSLR for more serious work but results with the A590 are so far excellent (for me) so will defer decision (save on the £££'s !) and maybe just 'upgrade' by purchasing telephoto and wide-angle lenses. So far has proved an excellent buy.

Really good value 'compatible' replacement blade.
Have to assess its durability in use but significantly cheaper than the maker's 'original' item so even if this 'compatible' doesn't last quite as long the price difference makes it a good buy.
