Inexpensive and work
I've been using a single rod for carp fishing using a single rod rod pod. I've now got a matched pair of carp rods and have converted the rod pod to a two rod rod pod. These were ideal to rest the two butt sections of my rods onto the rod pod.

Much better than the old one
I have owned a couple of Shakespeare Seat Boxes over the years mainly for sea fishing and occasionally for coarse fishing. They had been OK but the catch/lid closure had often caused problems especially if the box wasn't on level ground. This latest model is so much better. It's stronger so less flexing, the catches are better and the central strap is great. I'm looking forward to many years use out of the box. I might even get the Shakespeare back pack carry system so I don't always have to use my trolley.

Not what I expected
I returned the rod and exchanged it for another rod. Well made good fittings and blank but handle was too short.
I like Chub fishing gear and have one of their 11ft small water rods that's excellent.
