Classic 1940 serial
Classic sci-fi serial from 1940 where Flash Gordon battles Emperor Ming. Nominally aimed at children but adults found it entertaining too. Wild and woolly adventures with the customary cliff-hanger ending to each episode. Features Liszt's preludes as theme and incidental music to good effect. The quality of the b/w prints are very good.

The best version by far of the classic story.
This is a review of the Korean DVD. It is a good print of the definitive version of the famous novel - one of the old Hollywood's greatest films. The film plays in English so there are no problems with the soundtrack. It is an all-region DVD in NTSC, but I had no problems with playing it on a DVD, Blu-ray player or on my PC. A great classic film.
