Fantastic piece, honest listing (mentions a small distortion which wasn’t that bad TBH) and the seller even goes out of their way to make sure I am ok with this after purchasing! Fantastic communication and 100% honesty. 10/10 recommend! Oh and the piece was packed exceptionally well AND arrived early :D

Photo Studio 2x135W Soft Box Continuous Lighting Softbox Light Stand Kit Set UK
    10 Jan, 2018
    Extremely Impressed!
Right first off - I am no photography expert, but hey - that means you don't get a pretentious opinion or someone looking down their nose at these, which ARE at the budget end. So, what arrives is a big plain box. Inside that you will find - 2x light stands, folded and in carry covers, 2x soft boxes, again folded and in carry covers, and two smaller boxes, each with a bulb inside, packed in a polystyrene cradle. Top marks for packaging. The stands, while not heavy dute as such, are more than sturdy enough for the purpose, and I could actually see me using them for other things; as well as the fitting that the soft boxes slip over they ALSO have the standard photography screw thread at the top, so there are many uses here - mics, cameras, you name it, it could go on these. The soft boxes - pleasantly surprised here, they use an umbrella system - you just push a ring down over the light fitting inside, this is connected to the support rods, and hey presto - it pops out like an umbrella. No having to mess about with rods separately as I've seen with other soft boxes. The size is 50x70 cm, and can be fitted on the stand either "portrait" or "landscape" - very useful. The diffuser panels slip over the front of the box - they have a sewn on "lip" - as well as vecro, spot on. Light wise, I'd say the colour temperature is pretty bang on - I'm using these along with daylight LED bulbs and they are the same range for sure, can't tell a difference with the naked eye, and my cameras are happy. The brightness also impressed me, perfect for my use which is in a small "studio" arrangement for video. But due to the versatility of the setup these could easily be used for product photography and so on. I just can't believe the price. I paid £28.80 INCLUDING speedy delivery. I just can't fault it. No they are not "heavy duty" - hard or professional use might damage them (but not if you are careful!) but for the majority of people, amateur photographers, youtubers, these are amazing. I have a test video with these on my personal channel RFHStrachan on YouTube, just punch that into YouTubes search if you want to see. Nice even soft light, love them. Please note in the image those are REPLICA FIREARMS - THEY ARE NOT REAL - I run a small YouTube channel based mostly on workshop projects and my hobby of AIRSOFT. Hycote Engine Enamel Gloss Black Spray Paint 400ml Aerosol
    03 Aug, 2016
    All Hycote Products Are Ace
This one is no exception. I blast back a lot of small engine parts, brackets and such - and this stuff gives them that factory look back. If you can oven bake it, even better - a very tough and durable finish. As ever, but especially with enamel, spray light coats and wait in between - patience is always the key, and the first couple of coats should be "dusted" on. Hycote tech support is also fantastic, when enquiring about their calliper paint I got concise and prompt emails back, giving full detail. Its my go to brand for aerosol products, and I can't reccomend them highly enough.
