Excellent Value after I set up the String Action and Bridge
I use a 1993 Fender Stratocaster - us made, and i bought this as a backup for touring with band. The Donner DST-400 that I received has good fit and finish but it played badly. I order a dark-green body with a dark-wood fingerboard - it is a very handsome looking guitar! I set the string action up and found the following four items. [1] the neck had a 0.05 inch bow between 3rd and 15th fret. [2] the string action height was set too high because of this. The pickups were set high, for the action height. [3] I heard a strange spring-sound. [4] The intonation was acceptable. After straightening the neck out (using Truss rod and pulling the neck across my knee) and setting the action down to a playable height, I still had some fret 15-20 buzz. So I ended up with a slightly higher action. I also reset the pickup heights to remove string warble (occurs when PUP magnets are too close to the string). Finally I discovered that the tremolo bridge springs were completely slack! so I tightened these using the two wood-screws (kind of crappy!) and I put some wool damper in the springs to remove the springy noise. I did not completely float the bridge though - it rests on the body. I really like this guitar and I cannot image why someone would not. It is an excellent value imo.

8.192MHz CMOS Oscillator
Components are no-longer manufactured, so I was glad to locate these. They work perfectly.
