1967 My band backed up the Iron Butterfly many times and the D.O.O.R.S One time
1968 Theatre arts call board: Need stage, audio, light people to re build new club on Sunset Blvd. I went, and ended up bringing 5 more people.
I worked at the KALEIDOSCOPE till its First End. Big Brother and Janis were the headline act. I have a few pictures of an Acoustic set as the Building was shut down
due to the $$$ backers came to take over from the Three owners. WE sabotaged the systems and removed the necessary equipment. Gary sent me to Old Topanga canyon home of Cliff Potts to locate the COMP ticket box stored there with the "abandoned posters" I have.
I met Gail Zappa my first time as she called the police on me for passing out free TICKETS by the hundred in front of the WHISKEY a gogo area.
After the Calamity ( a riot on Sunset) there were about 500 people at the KALEIDOSCOPE and the place was dark.
