The Test Of Time.
I listened to The Goons on the original radio broadcasts in the fifties. I thought them hilarious then, but they have not stood the test of time, and are merely amusing now. Still recommended for nostalgic reasons though.

Better by Far
3 of 4 found this helpful This replaced a Canon A3 printer that failed after three years. The Canon tended to spend far too much time preening itself. No such problems with the Epson. It was easy to set up and prints promptly, and to a very good standard. As I require A3 and print onto CD/DVD this is an ideal machine. An excellent printer at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

45 years too early !!!
Bitches Brew 40th anniversary (2CD+DVD) edition.
I was first bought this as a birthday present, on vinyl in 1971. I was 19 years old and didn't really appreciate it, even though I had built up quite a collection of jazz albums at that time, including a few of Miles's. The album went missing a few years later during a house move and I never got round to replacing it.. Having recently read Ian Carr's excellent biography I resolved to fill the gaps and this was one them.
Well what can I say? The first playing blew me away! How could I not see/hear the beauty of this recording in 1971?
It seems that from my point of view at least Miles was, well miles ahead, 46 to be precise. I now feel the need to play this a few times a week at least.
