Spray putty

Spray putty is a misleading name. It's actually a high build primer. Bearing in mind it's an aerosol, it cannot build as much as a gun applied primer. However careful use of this product will help you achieve a good finish on repairs. Let every coat dry before applying another. Let the workpiece dry for 24hrs min. before rubbing down. When the surface is smooth and even, apply an aerosol grey over the top, two coats. Next day a rub with 1000grit and the job's a good 'un.
