Even though it is refurbished, the cleaner looks like it is brand new. It seems to clean well. I like the lift away feature, it does make it a little easier to carry it while doing the stairs. The unit is very light which is nice for carrying it about but does mean it is easy to pull over onto its side. The dust collector seems to be a bit smaller than on my previous cleaner (a Dyson) but it is easy to empty so this is not a problem. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
