Instructions and illustrations are poor.
Instructions are poor and so are the illustrations. I found it was necessary to pretention the inner spring to allow more of it to feed up under the garaged door arm. It is absolutely not the fault of the supplier but the nylon collar is the weak point.
It breaks if the spring gets stuck due to lack of greasing . At this time the door is unlikely to let down smoothly and will eventually jam.
