Egberto Gismonti, "SOLO" : BUY IT !!

Having quite a few of Egberto's albums, this is one of my top favorites by him. Quiet and very beautiful, with excellent loudness dynamic range ( closer to what real, live music actually sounds like ). "Jazz" in name only : this defies easy categorization. BUY IT !!

Eberhard Weber - Colours [New CD] Special Packaging

Eberhard Weber - "COLOURS" ( a 3 CD set of 3 of his albums, from his best period - the 1970s ).

EXCELLENT sound Quality on all three of these CDs, i have a highly resolving, very expensive stereo system, with high end giant speakers, and i immediately noticed details which i never have before. A revelation, even though i am familiar with the music from my LPs, played on a Mitsubishi Linear Tracking turntable, with the top of the line Shure V 15 cartridge, properly set up, AND properly cleaned vinyl. A nice little informative booklet is included, with good photos. For fans of Eberhard Weber and ECM, highly recommended. Also for others who are open to new and very beautiful music, of the "Chamber / Classically informed / Jazz variety. Cheers !!
