Super quiet but just don't quite have the oomph to blast air through thick radiators.
1 of 1 found this helpful I just tried to replace my Corsair SP120L fans on my H80i GT. I'm afraid, they can't keep up with the SP120L high performance fans. They're still very quiet at full pelt but the SP120L's have the extra power that results in a 5degree+ lower temperature on heavy loads albeit with jet engine type noise levels. My SP120Ls very rarely went to full load but my A12's run close to full speed at the merest twitch of the CPU being used.
These fans are probably best suited for those that want very quiet fans at medium CPU loads. They're unfortunately not 'quieter' high performance fans. I probably should have gone for the NF-F12's. Ah well, I'm sure I can find a use for them on a different machine where they will be more suitable.
