slide dimmer - 300 watt max load
I liked my first one, white. I have some 200 watt bulbs, 30 years old. The dimmers from the store would overload with the surge of a 60 watt bulb burnout. I the 200s during heating season. I've learned using a Y socket doubler allows many non-dimmable LEDs to dim, not enough resistance, LEDs don't have enough load. Even a 4 watt night light bulb will stop the strobing. Not much luck dimming a Brite stik. The new filament bulbs dim fine with no special handling. I haven't had an incandescent burn out yet that I'll be the test. Dimmed bulbs take longer to go Poof.
