New Memorex Slim External CD/DVD Writer is absolutely awesome!
4 of 4 found this helpful I absolutely love this external Memorex CD/DVD writer.
It's user-friendly, works very fast when burning, and plays DVDs and Data DVDs without making all the scanning noise that internal DVD drives make.
I am amazed with the price, considering it's such a respected brand name, it's quite a value.
It will play discs without installing anything and the optional burning software created by the installation disc offers upgrades, should you want more features...
Couldn't be happier with it.

Great Deal For a Retro Feel
The Casio CTK 491 is a great, affordable synthesizer for home and live performance.
It can also be made into a multi-functional home studio synth with the addition of an effects processor.
There are many great sounds to explore, with tones to fit every genre of music. It's fully polyphonic, touch sensitive and feels good under the fingers.
For beginners, there's a song bank with 100 songs to play along with, a simple drum machine with 100 rhythms and a few other tools to help with the learning process.
Tempos and keys can be changed with the touch of a button...
It's sound can be transferred through MIDI or via the headphone jack...
It has a microphone input for those who want to sing along...
And it can be powered with an AC adaptor or batteries...
I have had similar synths in the past, but I am quite happy with this Casio.
For this type of synthesizer, I strongly recommend going with an older used synth like this than modern, similar looking, unbranded, ultra inexpensive synths that are currently on the market.
