    Replacement part
The original spring fractured in a dozen places. I don’t know why. New one appears v good quality.

Great device but make sure it's the correct size for your Shimano lever
Concept of operation of the device is good. Unfortunately the threaded attachment on the reservoir is too small to fit the Shimano brake lever mechanism on my bike so this part, which is probably the most significant component of the system could not be used. My bike is new and perhaps Shimano have changed it. I was able to make a reservoir by cutting the bottom of the bottle of fluid, inverting it and screwing the nozzle into the brake lever mechanism.
