Cam sensor incorrect signal in Vectra B

I had an error code 0340 on my Vectra B 2.0i (X20XEV). This Hella sensor was bought and fitted. The fault did not clear. The ECU was then sent for testing but tested out OK. A Siemens sensor was then fitted, and the fault cleared immediately. Hence using this sensor was a waste of time and money.
