Do research first.
1 of 1 found this helpful Only use sound deadener made for vehicles that’s the bigger first step. Second step is knowing how many safer you need 80mil is thick but I go 3 layers thick in places it’s needed anything more is wasteful. After doing my research and making sure to only use vehicle dampener it’s brand name vs unknown name but it’s pretty much the same stuff. I tried this brand and I like it going to get more as I need it. Use rubberized spray sound dampener “boommat” for under your car and in hard to reach places you need to dampen

Be humble.
In these times of everybody having monster system (me included) not everyone need huge subwoofers all speakers suit a build and budget I got these to listen to on a system with low power cause these are efficient woofers that are now outdated but are appreciated by true audiophiles like myself who also invest large amounts of money into their car audio systems me personally have over 10k invested I’m my car audio build. In reality 300 watts to a few coaxial speakers and 400 watts a a single subwoofer or two is all anyone needs to enjoy and feel music or a good place to start.
