3 WAY MOLEX Power Splitter Cable Adapter Lead 4 pin

Wrecked My Hard Drive and Graphics card

I bought this three way splitter, put it in my PC to hook up another HDD with my graphics card. When I tried to switch the computer on, it bleeped 3 or 4 times as if alerting me. The computer would not switch on. When I took the cable out, I noticed that the yellow wire was hanging out as it was a faulty cable. When I put my computer back to the original set up, it still would not switch on. It turns out this cable ended up shorting the PCB board on my hard drive, thus making me lose 100Gb of data and wrecking the drive. It also shorted my Graphics card making it unusable
