Highly recommended progressive jazz rock
Great value - 5 Soft Machine albums, with changing but always outstanding lineups, from the experimental Third, to Karl Jenkins' stunning debut on Six, great playing from all players involved, jazz in a progressive rock setting. Each album valuable in varying ways. The lack of lineup and other information is the only drawback, but still a great bargain.

I have nearly all this on vinyl, but the remastering is pristine, and this is a brilliant collection of vintage synthesizer music, melodic, inventive and atmospheric. Very good value over four discs, chronologically arranged and each of great merit. The booklet is fairly basic, but the music is the main thing - highly recommended!
