New Life for a old Machine
I bought this processor to work on Gigabyte GA-MA790x-UD4P motherboard with
16 Gigs of Samsung DDR2-800 Memory. That combo did not fly. Instead I had
an old XFX-750a with 8 Gigs of Patriot DDR2-800 memory. That combo worked
very well. I'm using it now. The only cautions I would raise is check the
memory be sure it works with the processor and be sure to start with your
CMOS cleared. If you are just upgrading your processor -- your memory
should be just fine. Be sure to start with cleared CMOS!

Kids Interest
