Great value testers!
Ordered 3 testers and results are stable and consistent on all 3 dongles. Testers allowed me to discard crappy USB cables and keep good QC3.0 & Type C capable cables for our newer phones and tablets.

Stereo? Bluetooth? MP3's? Not together!!!
8 of 18 found this helpful I was quite angry when a Verizon salesperson and tech led me to believe that this unit would allow me to use a wireless Bluetooth stereo headset to listen to MP3's. I purchased two 2 512mb MiniSD cards to store music and a handsfree Bluetooth stereo headset (Motorola with microphone) on eBay.
Incredible! For a phone that touts big stereo external speakers (a gimmick), Bluetooth (only good in handsfree mode or to transfer files SLOWLY!), and MP3 capability... this is a joke to find out that LG does not have (and has no future plans to include) Bluetooth version 1.2 on this phone (probably just a firmware upgrade, like the overpriced VCast music service upgrade added AFTER I got these phones.) Observe that upgrades are only possible if they increase the potential revenue of your wireless carrier.
By the way, don't try to listen to MP3's with your Bluetooth mono handsfree device or headset. The only way you can listen to your MP3's is with a wired headset. You can't workout, run, drive, etc. while listening to music unless you have a damn wire restricting where your phone can be placed and speaker buds being yanked out of your ears with any small movement.
Hey, LG!! Thanks for the Stereo, Bluetooth, and MP3 capability!!!
Retards!
Shopper, make sure to get a phone with Bluetooth version 1.2 or 2.0 capability. Don't let carrier representatives lie to you. Go to the phone manufacturer website and get the specifications... and leave them an e-mail if you can't find the Bluetooth version for the model that you are researching.
Best regards,
Danny
