Pioneer TS-A6886R Car Speakers 6" x 8" 4-Way Speaker - Set of 1 in Black

Ordered on Saturday, installed on Wednesday.

Installed to replace the stock speakers on my 2004 Tacoma. I have these on a Pioneer AVH-X491BHS head unit that produces great sound with the 13 band eq, bass booster and speaker level controls. Awesome highs and bass that vibrates the rear view mirror make these a very good purchase. These have no grills and are intended for behind door panels. Nice fit with only a small area on the mount that needed to be trimmed due to these being a little deeper than the stock ones.

The pic says it all

Your truck will look as is does in the pic. The grill is very solid and weighs about 5 lbs. This is not a bolt over the original. The vertical ribs in the center will be removed as will the two covers right and left. After removing, some minor filing, sanding and a coat of black "trim" paint finish the cosmetic part. There are instruction videos on utube. It took me about 4 hrs from start to back on the road. I'm very satisfied and yes you can do this yourself.
