Bargain at this price, but still need to spend more for RAM and external SSD.
The only downside to the mac mini is the storage is on the low side and to upgrade through apple cost a fortune. Invest in an external thunderbolt SSD drive and upgrade the RAM yourself as it can still be done on this model. I've just upgraded the RAM to 16gb crucial ddr4 for £100. To do this through Apple would be nearly 3 times the cost. They will rip you off where they can. I edit large photos in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and it works very nicely. If you intend to do video editing then I'd probably suggest investing in an external graphics card as the integrated one won't be good enough.
