Mini scale
I use 2 scales in baking a large one for flour and similar but for adding single grams to the mix this miniature scale is just excellent. It has a resolution of 0.1g

This is vacuum packed yeast
The yeast is granular maybe 0.5mm diameter It is in a vacuum package so it needs a container bigger than the bag to pour it into. I have made several loaves of bread and been very pleased

good alarmclock and radio
This is a great DAB Radio comes with a nice aerial to clip to the wall and gets good signal. What it is not so good at is being a clock and a radio at the same time. When the unit is on a DAB station the top line of display is the station name and the second line is a station description (where the clock was).
When on FM the same (no clock) when in mp3 I am not using this input so the clock is shown. It has alarm timers and you can select 1/2/0 starts very quiet and ramps up to the volume when it was last used. You can also turn off the display which is awfully bright at night. It generates the time from the digital radio signal so it doesn't newed a backup battery.
