4K Digital Code for Lord of Rings Trilogy w LOTR Fellowship of Ring Blu-ray+DVD
26 Feb, 2021
4k fantasy at its best.
Lord of the rings trilogy is, in my opinion, the best series of fantasy action movies of all time. And now in remastered 4k is simply a thing of beauty. The clear crispness of each detail jumps right off the screen and into your imagination. It transports you to another land and time that is unequaled. Peter Jackson and the whole team of artists who created this wonderful bit of magic will be remembered for their gift to the world of cinema and for the joy they have given to millions as long as there are people in this world who appreciate great storytelling. At least in my humble opinion. Thank you Peter and thank you to all your team of artists.

Great Movie, but Blu-ray version is no better than DVD
I have the movie on both DVD and Blu-ray. The Blu-ray version is of no better vedeo quality than the DVD version when upscaled. Very grainy images, not what one would expect from a Blu-ray. I suspect that a lot of movies that are on Blu-ray are simply DVD quality versions transferred to Blu-ray Disc. I doubt that the studio has taken any time to clean up the film and make it truly HD quality. Shame on them! Anyway, don't waste your money on the Blu-ray version of this movie. The DVD version is just as good, or bad, depending on how you look at it.

WOW. Great Player. Awesome Picture and sound quality.
Great features. Menu improvements over the DVP-CX985v. A little slow outputting through HDMI, but not a big deal. I just love these SONY Mega-Changers. What a convenience to have all your movies at your fingertips.
