Perhaps the best pound for pound collectible that I've ever bought.
3 of 3 found this helpful I wasn't anticipating too much from this piece, given the relatively low price, and that turned out to be a very good thing, because the appearance and the quality of the Alien Queen - upon receiving it - went far beyond my expectations.
The box is fairly straightforward. It does a good job in keeping the figure secure. The best thing about it, is that the side of the box is designed to look like the Alien is in the elevator, replicating the scene during the climax of Aliens. It's a nice touch.
Getting the figure out of the box can be a little frustrating, though I'd much rather having to go through this than receiving a broken figure because it wasn't secured properly.
The figure is outstanding: very screen accurate; the proportions are spot on; the attention to detail and the colours all come together to give us a very special collectible. I'm a Hot Toys collector and have to say that this doesn't look out of place when surrounded by figures that cost 4 times as much on average.
Nothing is perfect, and this figure is no exception. The figure comes with 6 dorsal spines that you have to attach to the back. They can pop out very easily, especially when you're reposing the figure. My advice would be to hold the lower part of the pieces when inserting them, and if you have a hairdryer you could warm the sockets up first. The other niggle is that the two mouth pieces are very awkward to attach to the back of the Aliens mouth. In the grand scheme of things these are minor nitpicks, because the figure is THAT good.
You will spend a lot of time looking at this work of art and admiring its many details.
Shout out the seller, 'keepmywords2'. They were top notch. They dispatched the item very quickly, packed it well, provided me with tracking information, and I received it much earlier than I was expecting.

The 4K picture isn't particularly great. I barely noticed any improvement over the standard Blu Ray.
The film is excellent, one which encourages repeat viewings.
