Can't disable dhcp...

Besides being 2.4 ghz only, you cannot disable DHCP on it... so if you are going to use it as a repeater you may have to contend with 2 dhcp servers in your network. The range on it is fair for a 2.4ghz radio and I do believe there are other repeaters that are more versatile, easier to configure and cheaper. It may be fine in a non wifi environment, where you have ethernet connectivity and just want to add wifi capabilities to your network.

Great Value wifi thermostat! SWEET!

Easy to install. Instructions are quite clear. WiFi capable from cell phone is nice. GREAT value. More than half less than a NEST thermostat. Easy to program and very accurate. Old thermostats would come on only if temperature went below (or above for cooling mode) the set temperature 1 degree and go off when temperature was 1 degree above (or below for cooling mode) set temperature. That's almost a 3 degree temperature spread. This one maintains a constant set temperature.
