Sharp!
2 of 2 found this helpful I have been shooting with the 28mm f/3.5 Macro for a couple weeks now. Quite happy with the lens, it is an impressive bit of optics. The images are very, very sharp, using the entire resolution of the EOS M5 to best effect.
The lens is a specialized bit of kit, truly for macrophotography and maybe a bit of short range general photography. It has some odd features that seem a bit unusual at first.
The ring light of course, quite useful when photographing targets a few inches in front of the lens. Not really a ring, the light is two 90 degree segments to the left and right of the lens aperture. You turn on the light with a button on the side of the lens.
The lens must be extended before use by means of releasing a latch on the side of the barrel and then rotating the barrel into position. There are three positions for this extension, retracted, macro, and super macro.
The lens is not threaded for standard filters in the usual manner due to the barrel extension. There is an adapter supplied with the lens that fits standard 43mm filters (the same as a number of EF-M lenses). This adapter blocks the ring light, no real issue as using the ring light with a filter would likely result in reflections.

Nice bright field, sharp, feels good in the hands. Hard to beat these for the price!

Lightweight, good sound
1 of 1 found this helpful It is surprising how good the sound can be from reasonably low cost headphones. The PMX60 puts out sound that does justice to the mix of classical, new age and electronic music I listen to. Yes, there are better headphones out there, but how much do i want to spend on a set of headphones I thrown in my bag every day. You have to pay a lot to get just a little better than these.
