Nexus One Who Owns The owner
1 of 2 found this helpful The nexus one has had me griped since day one iv loved the two full days iv had with this phone and i hope many more.
so lets have a look at the phone (if you have one) it arives in a nice neat tidy box which contains adapter head phones and of caorse the phone i only had to toch the phone as i got it out of the box and it came to life you asked a serise of questions like seting up gogle accounts and other functions for the phone now i found it easy for that part as i have a google account so i just had to sing in so find you pc and set up on there first (also as i lernt you sim wont be ready for the internet so if you have wireless or wi-fi connect thoru that so you have the internet at least to start the apps on the phone whiles regestering) for some thats it really as if your contacts are in google they are already synced to your phone but if not dont worry you can import contacts off facebook myspace and other popular social sites and if your worried about the fact you cannont see the contacts off the sim if your using your old one like i am go into you andriod contacts hit the menu button and select inport from sim and that will uptate with any conacts you may of imported from socail sites but this could experimentle at the best. now the first thing i wanted to play with was the voice control now the hype was brill but the doing wasn't so. it reconised alot of words i said but alot wasn't and i found myself speaking like a robot but when you start the voice control it does say it's a beta so hopefully they will realse a better update for it. and as you can tell by my spelling on here it would be a great help. now this phone has so meany feature to explore that i will have no room left to tell all so my fav parts are the home screen to customise how you want your apps to look and im still placing apps around the place but you get five pages to play with but touch the menu button it takes you to all stored apps of games applications and everthing but i can imagine thou after downloading 100s of apps its goona get a bit crouded. a friend told me i had tobe carful as the apps will kill my batterie and sure enogh it was going down as fast as i could play the apps ther is and app called advanced task killer and it will show you all the apps running and if you need to preserve the batterie for instance to make a call it will shut off the app untill you open it again bad thing thou it stays on the notification bar but you can clear that but aging that will turn off task killer. so overall i found this phone an absolut dream for me i can now run everythin from work off my mobile aswell as my pc at the same time of just being a phone some tweks do need to be sorted as i found every time i touch the bottom left screan i kept touching the return button but that could be my fat fingers. now this is my first revew but i felt it nessery just to put my opinion about the nexus one across compared to the iphone i give this a 9/10 this phone has the protencial to be bigger and better than the compition and i feel it sertanly on it way to achive that. the real main bug bare of this phone HTC..... Better batterie please!
