Gives your work a nice professional touch
Straightforward... you must have some agility with the cutter itself... and of course must pay attention to the finer details of placing the mat board in position but really a no brainer...It is best to bring the Cutter right to the corner and not to crossover...Sometimes the corners are not completely cut .. so you have to finish the corner with an X-Acto knife annually

Stretching canvas
1 of 3 found this helpful This tool works fine except that in the process of stretching canvas on stretcher bars.. one has to hold the canvas with the left-hand taunt with the canvas priers and then apply staple gun with the right-hand to the stretcher bar and you must keep that staplegun firmly in place to get a good connection.. obviously if you had two hands available for the staplegun alone then you could put pressure on the top side of the staple gun with the left-hand and you'd get a great connection but in the process of stretching canvas solo not possible so the best you could do is have a helper with you OR put as much pressure as you possibly can with your right hand on that surface and hope for the best when doing it alone
