IDW gets it right.
The Turtles are back and better than ever. Vol 2 of the IDW Collection starts with a bang and doesn't let up. Reprinting issues 13 - 20, the micro series Casey Jones, April O'Neil, Fugitoid, Krang, Baxter Stockman, and the 4 issue series The Secret History of the Foot Clan. Getting 17 issues of very hard to find comics is a no brainer. The book is very well put together with some great cover art highlighting Master Splinter. The micro series issues are incorporated in between regular issues and stay in the timeline perfectly. An example...the book starts off with the Casey Jones issue. Next is issue 13 in which the story starts immediately following the end of C.J. issue. The stories are well written and packed with plenty of action and thought. The introduction of Slash, the first look at the Technodrome, more back story on Casey and April. It's everything a Ninja Turtle fan could ask for. If you've been a fan for years or just getting into the TMNT, these books are the way to go. Vol 11 drops in July.
