Bad design
The plastic end caps are not tight enough to stay in. I lost an end cap somewhere along the road while driving and I’m not sure where to get another. All 4 end caps are loose so I removed them until I can find a better way to attach them. The brackets are well made and have grade 8 hardware but I would have designed them to be shorter so that the steps are closer to the body of the truck for a more factory look and feel. These give quite a large gap between the step and the pinch weld of the truck. I also think there should be another bracket in the middle as the crew cab steps are quite long and may put a bit too much stress on the two mounting spots of the factory pinch weld.
