Pfister Cheap Plastic
While this pump looks to be identical to the one being replaced (which broke after 10 years), the new one broke in 2 days. Simply stated the mechanism is totally plastic and not made with tight tolerances. When used the pump collar becomes off center from the mounting shaft and the pumping action has an angle which broke the cap where it attaches to the tube that draws the soap from the bottle.
For practically the same price I went to Lowes and bought an all metal unit. While not the same style as Pfister, its performance is better with more precise dispensing and no soap drips.
