Subtle, unfolding comedy/drama, D. Lawrence Kasdan
All Kasdan's films are well written and well acted by an ensemble cast of excellent actors. This is no exception. A Psychiatrist - Mumford, eponymous with the name of the town the film is based in - takes on a damaged young woman who almost cannot leave her house. Mumford's brand of therapy is a mixture of common sense and Google searches as he tries to stay ahead of the game. Multiple plot lines devlop in parallel with his patients analysis leading to interesting/funny fantasy sequences a la Vertigo. Small town America as it likes to be portrayed with a rich set of quirky characters who actually care for and interrelate with each other. The problem is, Mumford has an even deeper secret than his patients. Initial jealousy from the peers he has displaced leads to a gradual unmasking and subsequent catharsis. This is a film about empathy but not in the phoney sense and has a lot to say about its relatonship to psychiatry and how people interact. Enjoy!

Style plus substance, with excellent build quality and perfromance.
I bought the PMX 60s after some degree of research into neckband phones. I use a set of Grado SR60i but required a more portable set for travelling, poolside etc. Not only are they stylish and well designed but have a quality look and feel to them. I am a believer in substance over style and these phones have both is spades. The sound quality and range is excellent from the 3 mp3 players I have plus using a PC as the source. I would totally and unequivocally recommend them.

Watch your life dissolve!
Same Peter Berg from Last Seduction! Seemless move from Dupe to Director. Jon Favreau plays the focus of the stag weekend in Vegas organsised by the Slater character - leaving the bridezilla (Diaz) to organise the wedding. Somewhat cliched as the coke-hooker-dead_in_the_bathroom night unfolds but entirely saved by the best seats at the back view of disparate characters lives dissolving before our eyes as the cover up extends from the hotel security guard to each other. Ending in possibly the best hubris-nemesis scene ever. Buy this if your stag weekend is an historic event!
