Not What I Was Hoping For
I ordered this product based on the description on the website saying it was suitable for my car. When it arrived and I compared it with the old module on the car, the electrical connector was completely different, so it was not a direct replacement. However, I managed to cannibalise it for the parts I needed to replace what was broken in the original module, so it wasn't a complete waste of money. Not surprisingly, it was made in China, so the quality isn't brilliant, but now I've fitted it in the car, it looks pretty good and, for the price, it was good value.

This item is exactly what I wanted so I'm happy with my purchase. The quality and condition are as one would expect for a new item from Hornby and the appearance is lovely. The only problem I've found with it is that, if the fixing screw that holds the leading pony truck is tight, it holds the wheels off the rails, leading to numerous derailments. I have had to loosen the screw to allow the wheels to drop down onto the rails. Not a problem I was expecting and a bit annoying.
