Unbelievable value
These little 16 channel sets are amazing for the price and come with all the bits you need except for a programming lead. With one of these leads (about £2.50 on EBay) and the BF480.exe (just search for the name) software you can program them to any channels in the 420-470MHz range. CHIRP will also work. It's best to read from the radio first then modify the frequencies and upload the data back to the radio.
They will do the 6.25kHz offset required for PMR446, CTCSS and DTS squelch. The transmitter produces about 1W (measured) the receiver is quite sensitive (0.2uV gives smooth noise) and the transmit audio is clear. What's not to like?

Great value 12V power units.
1 of 1 found this helpful Amazing value for these excellent units. I use them to power various bits of 12V equipment. Just solder a link from pins 33 to 36 to get it to power on.
