Not too bad for the $
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this for personal use, in my hobby shop. I checked it out versus an OHAUS Navigator and ETEKCITY i2000. I found one of the 295g hanging weights could not be rotated so I marked it "this side out" (over a gram difference via 180 degree rotation). I adjusted the front and back hanging pins for more consistent results (it did matter whether I hung the weight on the front or back pin, 0.6 to 1.0 g depending upon the weight). I got it down to 0.2 g variation, front to back, using the 295g weights (weighing things over 1 kg). This is similar to the variation observed when the scale was re-zeroed, i.e., about as good as it gets. I thought it was okay for the money. I did not expect it to be much better in repeatability or accuracy than about 0.5 grams over a wide range of masses. With some work, it met my expectations. Geeky engineer here.
