Solid and sturdy

This is a well built work table with a large top. The unit is a bit heavy but that's what makes it so sturdy. I've had lighter tables made entirely of plastic that can get tippy when applying lateral force. So far with this table, I have not had any issues with instability, even when using large heavy power tools on them (such as a 12" sliding miter saw). Overall a great work table, although some what pricey. As for other reviews that complain of pinching hazards, just use common sense and keep your hands away from the pivot points when raising the wings of the table top. There are stickers warning of pinching in these areas.
